still mountain | rushing stream for clarinet in B-flat, alto saxophone, guitar, and percussion was commissioned by the Montana-based chamber music ensemble Big Sky Four- 0-6 and inspired by scenic images of Montana’s nature.

Performance notes:

If no change of tempo is indicated, keep the sixteenth note constant when changing meters.

The guitar should be amplified. As a general principle, the guitar part should be played L.V. as much as possible, especially in repeating arpeggio passages.

Percussion instruments: marimba (4.3 octave) and suspended triangle.
